When you build things with vibe coding, sooner or later you find yourself thinking this.
“Why is everything so closed off, with so many restrictions, when all I want to do is use one API?”

I keep running into this myself as I build different products and services these days. AI is making it faster and faster to build, but too many of the services and data we need to connect to are still closed off.
So Hashed is hosting the OBA (Open Builder Alliance) WEEKENDTHON with Market Fit Lab.
OBA WEEKENDTHON is a hackathon where more than 10 companies, including Nexon, LG U+, and MyRealTrip, open up their APIs and open source, and builders spend two days and one night making products with them.
This isn’t just a place to talk about ideas. It’s a camp where you connect real APIs, build products, meet your team, and see your build through over two days and one night.
Alongside the build sessions, this hackathon will also include LETS networking sessions. We want people to leave not just with a record of who built what, but of who connected with whom, and how.
I believe builders are the ones who ultimately break open closed ecosystems. If you want to help expand Korea’s developer ecosystem, or meet people who share your concerns and energy, come join us.
OBA WEEKENDTHON
- First round: Monday, May 25, 6:00 PM
- Second round: Thursday, May 28, 6:00 PM, only if spots remain
Good APIs, good open source, and good builders, all in one space. Let’s build together this weekend.
